Kekikokaka
A point-of-sale built for bazaar and event vendors: roaming sales staff, a kitchen display, delivery tracking and live order status, even when the venue connection drops.
Overview
Kekikokaka is a point-of-sale for small food and retail businesses that sell at bazaars and events. Unlike a fixed-counter cashier, sales staff walk the venue with a phone and a portable printer, take orders on the spot, and hand them to the kitchen and delivery queue in real time.
At an event the tablets talk only to a small local server (a Raspberry Pi), so selling never depends on the venue’s mobile signal. Every change is queued and synced to an always-on office server, where reports for all events are combined.
The web dashboard gives owners sales reports, stock and ingredient control, discounts, events and branches. The mobile app serves cashiers, sales staff, waiters and the kitchen, each with their own role and screens.
